Stopped working after some time. The connection b/n one of the wires and the plug, where a small board connects the wires to the pins, broke. Soldered, worked a bit, now it is broken again. Tried to fix a second time only to fry the fuse. Not happy with how long it lasted.

I have now used this adapter less than 20 times, & like the Garmin adapter than came with the GPS, this one also lacks durability- it's now broken; the Garmin adapter had broken after about the same number of uses. Neither adapter was misused or dropped, they broke after normal use. I know that the car's adapter plug is not the problem, because other adapters (like cell phone) do work in this car. Now I'm looking for another adapter, this time one that is neither Garmin nor Gilsson, & hopefully my third adapter will be one that lasts longer than either of these two! Although well-constructed of sturdier materials, easier to grip & a better fit with the adapter plug than the original adapter made by Garmin, my revised rating for this product would be 1*, simply because it's not worth the money for a product that has lasted such a short time.

I am for the most part pleased with this Garmin carrying case for my 760. However, I was expecting one with a little more padding. It seems Garmin recommends this same case for a multitude of models and for some there is a problem with the fit being either too loose or too snug. I even checked out Garmin.com to verify that this was the correct case and it was but they did not mention the 760 in the description of it. In conclusion, I believe Garmin should come up with more models of cases instead of trying to use the "one case fits almost all models" mentality.

I ordered a Nuvi 650 and since it did not come with a A/C charger, I ordered this. I specifically liked the fact that it would double as a car charger as well. Excellent design and works well. If I had known the fact that I could indeed charge my Nuvi using the USB port, I may not have ordered it. PS: The mini-bag did not ship with the product for me. EDIT: Bought this product from Accessory Genie. They contacted me to know about the ordering experience and I told them about the mini-bag. Even though I said it is ok for them not to ship it, they insisted that I should be perfectly happy with the ordering experience and sent me the mini-bag promptly. Kudos...
